It is a big data analytics and decision sciences company with its office in Bangalore, India. The organization is providing solutions and helping companies systemize better data-driven decision making. The recruitment in Mu Sigma is done for many technical posts.
Mu Sigma conducts recruitment process every year in search of students with good analytical minds. The job profile they offer is Trainee Decision Scientist. The selection process of the company consists of 6 rounds. These rounds are as follows:
Mu Sigma Aptitude & Personality Test (MuApt)
Pseudo Code & case study
Minimum of 60% in graduation is required.
No backlogs are allowed.
Candidates can be of any branch.
Pattern of Written Exam:
The written test is conducted together by Mu-Sigma’s own platform Mu-Apt and CoCubes. The Written exam consists of 4 sections. The sections being :
Quant and Logical
There is no individual time limit for any section.
Quant and Logical section consists of 15 questions.
Language section consists of 10 questions.
Critical Thinking section consists of 10 questions.
Personality Test section consists of 20 questions.
The total time allotted for the written exam is 50 minutes. There is a penalty 0.5 marks in each section except in personality section in the paper.
Mu Sigma Aptitude & Personality Test consists of questions on Quant, Critical Reasoning, Logical Reasoning. Questions are generally based on time & works, percentages, data sufficiency. This section is easy to moderate.
Language: Language section contains grammar, fill in the blanks and Reading comprehensions. This section is moderate.
Critical Thinking: This section includes questions related to visual thinking and visual representation. This section is moderate to difficult.
Video Synthesis This round tests the listening and grasping skills. In this round, a video will be shown and you will be asked to summarize it in your own words.
Pseudo Code & Case Study round consists of a written test wherein a pseudo code will be given and you have to write the output and in Case-Study a situation will be given and some questions will be asked to that problem to check your analytical skills. This round is for 30 minutes.
Overall the level of the paper is moderate to difficult. Only those candidates who clear the written exam will qualify for the next rounds that are Group Discussion and interviews.
